A full redesign in Drupal of the Mission Ridge website within a responsive framework. As project & art director, I set the vision, defined the structure, developed the content and managed the implementation of the ski area’s new website. In the seven months since site launch, year-over-year visits have increased 25%, organic traffic has increased 25% , and the bounce rate has decreased 5%.

Rails & Ales Wenatchee Ski and Snowboard Competition Video Screenshot

An on-snow event in downtown Wenatchee that drew between 2,000-2,500 people in its first year (2014). Wenatchee is 12 miles from a ski area, but it’s not known as a “ski town.” Working closely with a local brewery, we imagined an event that would bring the snow and the “ski town” into the heart of Wenatchee, and invigorate the downtown core in the middle of winter. Mission accomplished! I envision great things for this event in the coming years.

Replaced Mission Ridge’s outdated and difficult-to-use ecommerce solution with a new online store. In its first year, the new online store facilitated more than $1 million in online sales and helped Mission Ridge set a record for season pass revenue. The store was set up to sell season passes, retail items and gift cards.

Mission Ridge has legions of diehard fans and a regional presence and reach, but struggled to actively engage online audiences. By cultivating and sharing great content, I increased Mission Ridge Facebook fans from 5,000 to 15,000 in six months.
